We play as close to the FIFA laws as possible, with a few exceptions. The goal is to reduce disagreements and keep everyone safe.
FIFA rules except…
- Zero tolerance for tactical fouls or any overly aggressive playing
- No slide tackles or tactical fouls of any kind
- No offsides, but…
- No cherry-picking allowed (only to be called by defenders and goalie). Cherry picking is a player standing more than ~5 yards offsides clearly not trying to stay onsides or run with play.
- Anyone running forward, please just try to stay onside as you are making your runs. Be your own ref.
- Call your own fouls, handballs, etc. There are no refs so be your own, please.
- Goalie calls corner kicks and goal kicks
- Players must be willing to volunteer for goalie when a goalie isn’t on your team. If you don’t volunteer, you will be asked to play.
